I am so sorry to hear of this great doctor's death. I was a patient of Joe Echols, but would often see Dr. Bruns. Dr. Bruns was with me at the birth of my 3rd(child and only son(now 36). He was always so wonderful in every way.

Our sympathies for the family of one of the greatest OB/GYN Dr that has ever been. He was my Dr for the births of all 3 of my kids! The first he delivered in 72 and the last in 1982. Surely such a wonderful person will be missed! Thanks for all his years in practice!

My deepest sympathy to The Bruns family and extended families. I became a patient of Dr. Bruns in 1974 and was until he retired. I haven't found one like him since then. Dr. Bruns delivered my three daughters and two of my grandchildren. I have pictures of him holding them all. He was a wonderful doctor and played a huge part in some of the most important events in my life, the birth of my children and granchildren, and I'll always be grateful to him for that. God bless you all.

Love and sympathy to Babs, Shelton, and Gwinn, and all the extended family. Not only was Bill a good friend but delivered our daughter Elizabeth. We are now in Forrest City, AR where Elizabeth delivered our first grandson, William Zimmerman Allen, on Christmas Day. Frances and Toby were here to celebrate with us.

We will be in touch, but wanted you to know of our love and prayers.

Doctor Bruns delivered all 3 of my children - in 1969, 1971 and again in 1974 - He was not only a great Doctor, but he had a great personality and did not mind taking the time to calm a scared 19 year old!!!I know he will be missed.

Bruns family,

So very sorry to hear of Dr. Bruns' death. He saw me through three pregnancies, delivering two of my children. I can remember being in his office the day he got his very first personal computer--he was so excited & called my husband back to show him, asking advice on the set-up. He was a down-to-earth, kind man. I have missed him since his retirement and I am saddended by his death. May God give you strength and bring to your remembrance the best of memories.

My deepest sympathy for your loss. Dr. Bruns was more than our doctor, he was a friend to all of our family. He was there to celebrate the birth of our children and to mourn the passing of our mother. We remain forever grateful for all of his comforting words and one of a kind humor.
