Erica Moore

Moore, Erica Dawn Gibson 34, of Plano, passed away Saturday, December 8, 2012 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on November 11, 1978 in Waukegan to Michael and Judi (Peters) Gibson. Erica could be described as a social butterfly, she touched the lives of everyone she met and everybody loved her. She enjoyed playing softball and going fishing in her spare time. She was an avid Greenbay Packer and Chicago Cubs fan. She was cherished by her family and loved spending time with them most of all. She is survived by her daughter, Samantha Tori Thomas; her parents, Michael and Judi (Peters) Gibson; her sister, Shellie Thomas; a niece Mada Jo Thomas; her maternal grandmother, Dorothy Richardson; two brothers-in-law, Matthew Thomas, and Jeremy Eslick, as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, George and Margaret Gibson; her maternal grandfather, Jerry Peters; her step-grandfather, John Richardson; and a cousin, Brandi Jo Peters Sigman. A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, December 15, 2012 from l0am until the time of the memorial service at 12pm, at the Assembly of God Church, 1201 Dean St. in Woodstock.
