Linda, If only I knew that before I left to Florida and had lunch with you that day it was going to be our last living hug and farewell I never seen it in your eyes that day that you were really telling me good-bye in a different way...I think of you so often and hoping that God had a SPECIAL spot waiting for you for he took you from all those who loved you dearly here on Earth but as they say we must never question what Our God does but this time I have and I must say The hurt he has given me this time around is lingering for I know I really never said good-bye and wasn't here for you when you needed me to really be here. You were a strong person much more stronger than I could ever have been. I know when I see that twinkle in the sky you're telling me you are happy and pain free but I still miss you my Friend.Love you and friends forever.Love, Joyce

I am so sorry to hear of Linda's passing. I just heard about it today. She was a good train buddy back when I road the Burlington to work. She was funny and fun to be around. Keep the good memories in the forefront of your thoughts to help you and the family through this difficult transition. You will all be in my thoughts.

Steve, I only just learned of Linda's passing and wanted to express my sadness and condolences. Linda was a good friend to me for years while we rode the train together. In a very special way she is responsible for so many special defining moments in my life. I forever will be grateful. The world is a much dimmer place without her in it. But as in her life on earth, I know she is a very special angel watching over us all. Please know we are keeping her and all of you in our prayers. With great caring and much shared tears....

Steve,

We are so sorry for your loss.

Linda was a great wife, mother, sister and friend.

I learned more about Linda at her funeral. She was a die-hard Cubs fan who had hope that they would win a World Series. She was a woman of faith. Know that she is at peace and her suffering is over.

Please let us know if there is anything we can do for you. You will be in our thoughts & prayers.

Steve,

Our deepest & most sincere sympathies over your loss.

Words cannot ease this for you, but know that there are many "old boys" thinking of you today.

We are so sorry that we were not in attendance at the services, but only heard the sad news late on Sunday.

You have been a friend and brother for a long time. Please know that we care.

With you....

Steve and family,
I am so sorry Nemo and I could not be there today but I hope that you all know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. Linda was a wonderful person who was willing to help in anyway possible not only for the haunted trails but in many areas at the Turners Club! I know she must have been just as thoughtful in all aspects of her life. I will miss her pleasant smile and warm personality. She certainly made this earth a better place. May you hold on to all the happy memories as we all remember how lucky we have been to have had her in our life! With our deepest sympathy,
Peggy and Ken Neimeyer
