Martha Jeglum Obituary

Martha Joanne Jeglum, 74, of Aurora passed away on Monday, May 3, 2021 at Mercy Medical Center. Born in Cherokee, Iowa on April 10, 1947, she was the daughter of Fred and Nancy (Brannan) Ebert.

Martha was a member of the Phoenix Club and Turner's Club in Aurora. She loved cooking and playing cards with friends.

She is survived by her sons, Aaron and Seth Jeglum; and brother, Jim Ebert.

Preceding her in death are her parents and brother, John Ebert.

Memorial service will be Saturday, May 22, 2021, at THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY, 220 N. Lake Street, Aurora at 3:00 PM.

Memorial visitation will be Saturday, May 22, 2021 from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM.

Due to Covid-19 pandemic protocols, non-family visitors are asked to pay their respects to the family for only a few minutes and exit the funeral home in a timely fashion. Social distancing and face masks are required for those in attendance.

I still remember Mrs. Jeglum bringing my family some peanut butter cookies back in the day. Over 30 years later, I still swear those were the best peanut butter cookies I’ve ever had. Rest In Peace Mrs. Jeglum.
