Robin Diane Stacks (Ashby) 61 of Somonauk passed away peacefully on July 16th, 2017 at St. Margaret's Hospital, Spring Valley IL. She was born September 29th 1955 in Iowa City, IA to the late James and Donna Ashby. Robin attended Sandwich Schools. She was a hairdresser at Bella Boutique for 35 years. Robin gave of herself with honest love and caring to all she met. Her love was returned to her by so many customers, friends and family that she felt truly blessed even while facing a terrible disease that she knew would take her life. Robin never stopped caring about others. She is survived by her husband Roger, her loving daughter Wendy (Troy) Ohlson, precious grandchildren; Austin, Clayton, Dylan and Baylee, her sister Vickie (Pete) Fitzpatrick and her brother Jim (Amy) Ashby, and nieces, Jessica, Mateika and Sarah Greene. She is preceded in death by her parents James and Donna Ashby and a nephew Nicholas. Memorial service will be held July 24th 2017 at 3:00 p.m. at the Beverage Family Funeral Home Sandwich, IL. with Rev. Bill Regal officiating.
