Joe Ramseur Obituary
U.S. Marine Corps Capt. Joe D. Ramseur, a native North Carolinian, passed away at age 94 on October 2, 2024, at Abernethy Laurels in Newton.
A graveside military honors service will be held on Thursday, November 14, 2024 at 11 a.m. at Eastview Cemetery in Newton. A memorial service to celebrate Joe's life will be held on Sunday, November 17, 2024 at 2 p.m. at Newland Presbyterian Church, 199 Elk St., Newland, NC 28657. The Rev. Michael McKee will officiate. The family will receive friends following the service at Newland Presbyterian Church.
