Arthur Cameron Obituary
Art passed away peacefully in his sleep at the age of 88. Art was born in Minneapolis, MN to Chester and Pearl Cameron, and had a younger brother, Del. The family relocated to Burbank, CA, where Art graduated from John Burroughs High School in 1954. In 1955 Art joined the Army and he was stationed at Fort Devens in MA. Art was an accomplished musician who specialized in brass instruments. He played in the high school and Army marching bands and concert bands.
Art returned to civilian life and in 1957 he married Suzanne Ryan. They settled in Burbank, CA and raised three children: Duane Scott Cameron, Donald Cameron, and Deborah Cameron Rouse. The family were members of Magnolia Park United Methodist Church.
Art married his second wife Johnnie, and they lived in Sylmar, CA until her passing. Art married his third wife, Betty, and lived in Valencia, CA until their divorce.
Art worked at Crane Hydro Aire in Burbank, CA for 40 years. He started as a machinist and retired as the Facilities Manager. Following retirement, Art moved to Bullhead City, AZ and lived there until 2023 when he moved to Lancaster, CA to be closer to his family.
Art is survived by his three children, eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Services will be private.
