Audrey CARTER Obituary

Passed away January 13, 2019 at home surrounded by loved ones. She was born May 14, 1930 to Olen and Ruth (Settle) Forquer. She grew up in the Antelope Valley before moving to Michigan, where she graduated high school. After a professional career in dance, she returned to the Antelope Valley. She married Ronald H. Carter in 1951. Ron proceeded her in death in 2009.
Audrey is survived by daughters Rhonda, Cheryl and Marla, three grandchildren and one great grandson. She enjoyed showing her Arabian horses at the AV Fair, teaching dancing, traveling, gambling, shopping and her phone. One of her greatest enjoyments was spending time with her beloved Torry and fiance Janae.
There are no words to express the gratitude the family has for Joanna's devotion. Not only was she her caregiver of 8 years, but a part of our family. The family also wants to express thanks to Stephanie, Joanne, Angie and Nancy for all of their support, care and love.
Private graveside for family January 23rd at 11 :00 am. Reception to follow for family and friends.

Rhonda, Cheryl and Marla - I have such great memories of your Mom. She had an awesome smile and laugh. I saw her about 5 years ago when taking my Mom to get her hair done. Barbara did Audrey's hair also. My thoughts and prayers are with you today.
