Gary Parks

PARKS, Gary Gary Parks was born June 9, 1953 in Ridgecrest, California. He passed away on Sept. 29, 2023. Gary enlisted in the US Army in 1972. On June 9th, 1973, Gary celebrated his birthday and married his High School sweetheart, Donna. Gary's dedication to the Army didn't end with his first discharge in 1975. His re-enlistment in 1976 For four more years, he continued to serve with honor and distinction. In 1980, Gary transitioned into civilian life, where he started at Burroughs. In 1985, Gary started at Rockwell/Boeing. While Gary's professional achievements were indeed noteworthy, it was his role as a husband, father, grandfather, son, and brother that truly defined him. His love and devotion to his family were palpable, providing a source of strength and inspiration to all. Everyone who knew Gary knew they could depend on him, whether it was to fix a computer, a phone or anything electronic. We bid farewell to Gary, as he reunites with his father Robert Dale Parks, his brother Lyn Stuart Parks, and daughter-in-law Jenny Parks. He leaves behind his wife Donna, his sons Bobby (Courtney) and Brian (Jessie), his grandchildren Bryce, Leah, Brantley, and Presley, his parents Bonnie and Jim, his brother Ron, and his sister Sandy.
