Justin LANE Obituary

34, was taken from us January 1, 2021 in a tragic water truck accident at 120th Street West and Ave. I.
He leaves behind his grieving family, adored wife Jessica, beloved son Bronson, devoted parents George and Charlene, and many cherished friends and family members.
Justin was the 4th generation of the pioneering Lane Family who resided at the ranch at 60th and L in Quartz Hill, a working ranch since 1908. Son Bronson is the 5th generation of the Lanes to live there. Devotion to his family was his highest honor. His greatest joy was to be of service to them. Justin was devoted to his wife Jessica whom he called "My Princess"and"MyAngel"and his son Bronson who was his "partner" and "best buddy". He took an active role as father doing everything for his son; horse shows, school and sports activities and making Bronson his favorite food treats.
Justin felt a great responsibility to continue the ranch tradition and carry on the legacy of his prudent great grandfather George W., his grandfather Frank, and his father George. He was a kind and gentle horseman and trainer and considered his horses to be a partner to his sport. He was an excellent horseman and his gentle training style set him apart. He grew up learning from his father and grandfather.
Justin's life as a rancher/ cowboy was the times that family bloodlines ran deep. Life on the ranch consisted of day-to-day doctoring of cattle and horses, training and exercising, perfecting his craft, and operating the family's working ranch. He traveled extensively on the rodeo circuit, excelling in tie down and team roping and was teaching his son Bronson to rope and ride. He drove the Wells Fargo stagecoach and horse hitch throughout the western United States including the Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade.
Justin took great pride and pleasure in his literary pursuits. His passions and gratifications were all things literary arts and history. He wasateacher.Hewouldshare his knowledge selflessly. One of his joys in life was to see the people he taught master those skills.
Justin graduated from Paraclete High school where he played football for four years, and Cal State Bakersfield in 2013. He was a businessman like his father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He was the Vice President of Monte Vista Building Sites, Inc, partner of Lane Ranch & Co., and a Board Member of Antelope Valley East Kern Water Agency.
He was a member of the Screen Actors Guild and appeared in many commercials, TV shows, and movies in many wrangler capacities. He was scheduled to begin a three-month job on the film Miracle Workers 3 this week. Bronson Justin George Lane, 5 years old, displays great fortitude and strength of character in his time of loss. Justin, you will be greatly missed, and you will live on through Bronson, and in the conscience of all those who were privileged to know you.
In lieu of flowers, donations made be made in Justin's name to the UCLA Jules Stein Eye Institute. [email protected] Services will be held OUTDOORS on Tuesday – January 19, at 10:00 a.m at Joshua Mortuary in Lancaster, CA. Family and Friends are welcome.

Justy, I remember the day you came to the office for the first time, you were so cute and bubbly. All called you Justy, and for me it stuck and to the last time we spoke I called you Justy. You had the softest kindest heart and always had a minute to spare in your busy life. I will forever remember you for that and for always going out of your way to just say hi. Your are so missed Justy and I will never forget you. Bronson keeps you alive and present and you would be proud. Fly with the angeles my friend forever in our hearts. L~

Justin... My Boss, the one who interviewed me on a Friday, Probably the one I annoyed by texting all weekend long.. the one who finally text back on Monday, and hired me on... I cant believe your gone.. The office isn't the same, It doesn't feel right without you. I do my best to be strong for your Dad, and I play with Bronson almost everyday.. I'm not gunna lie, It was extremely hard for me the first week..

When I lost my mother, I could not be there, didn't have a chance to grieve, so I swallowed it all and held it together best I could.. she had a four year old daughter at the time that was glued to her hip her whole life.. Seeing & interacting with Bronson, flooded my entire being with all the heartache I locked away all those years ago.. he reminds me so much of my baby sister.. I want him to know that its ok, that I know what he's going thru, but I don't know how to, so I just play with him, give him "treasures" that you know he loves!!
His strength is beyond measure, Justin....

I remember going home after work and just crying and crying, not knowing if I was gunna be able to handle this again tomorrow, if I was going to be able to be strong for your family when they need me to be.. I missed you, heavy hearted with the sorrow i knew consumed your parents... I missed my mom, I thought of Bronson not having his DaDa, and just silently cried more.. I wish there was a way to wake up and all this be a bad dream, but this is reality .. a heart breaking one. in my experience, Time does not heal quick enough, and things will never feel normal around the office without you..

I remember first seeing him at the ranch when he was practicing roping and I was there to write a story for the local newspaper. His skill amazed me. He took everything he did seriously and professionally. No one could push him harder than he pushed himself for perfection. Next, I interviewed him when he ran for a seat on the AVEK water board. Once his professionalism shines through for such a young man. Since then we spoke about his son and his family. They meant everything to him. He was thoughtful, polite and a genuine joy to know. My sympathies to his family and my prayers for Justin and his family. RIP.
