Albert Koehler Obituary
Peoria - Albert John Koehler III passed away December 8th, 2020 after a long battle with cancer. His loving wife was at his side when he was called Home. He fought like a warrior until the end. He leaves behind his wife Melissa, two sons Albert John Koehler IV and Austin Yaeger, his daughter Briannah Yaeger, his daughter-in-law Kylee Yaeger, his grandchildren Kynlee, Declan, and soon Colton, his step-sons Nathaniel Hall and Lee Hall, his mother Barbara Koehler and his brother's Robert and William Koehler. He will join his father Albert John Koehler II in Heaven. His Celebration of Life will be held at Menke Funeral & Cremation Center 12420 N. 103rd ave. Sun City, AZ. 85351 on December 22, 2020 between 5 pm and 8 pm.

I am very sorry to hear of Al's passing. I attended CHS class of '83 with him and he was always friendly, always the good guy in the room. Sending all of my best wishes to the Koehler family and am deeply sorry for your loss of such a good person.

Wow, I still can’t believe this. Al. Your that one friend that I always expected to be there. I met you in 1976 at Washington Elementary School. You lived across the street from The Original Bobby McGees bar and Restaurant. I lived about 10 minutes away from you. Our friendship lasted throughout high school and beyond! I truly appreciated your friendship, and sincerely miss you! I would see you driving your lifted Ford on many occasions, and would text you as an “Al Koehler sighting “. I felt the loss of your presence these last several weeks. I’m happy that I was able serve you, your mom, and the referral moves that you so generously hooked us up with! You will forever be in my prayers. I look forward to seeing you in the future my friend! I will meet you at the bench press up in heaven!

Was a neighbor on Patrick ln where we all shared such great memories, I will always remember our block parties, and how much fun we all had, I hope that Al had these fond memories and kept them with him.

Love you cousin ! I have a lot of great memories of hanging out with you growing up you were always cool to me. I loved the Christmas Day football games we all played.

To my best-friend and my dad, I miss you so much. Each day it’s a little harder but I’m learning to keep my mind busy. Thank you for raising Austin and I like we were your own. Loving us unconditionally even when we weren’t the best kids at times. Always checking up on me as soon as I joined the army. You were so freaking proud of me. I was growing up, but I was growing up into the woman you had raised me to be. I know I’m strong and I know this pain will always be here but it’s going to get easier. Your my guardian angel, the last thing we said to eachother was that you pinky promised me you’d fight. You did just that and more I know you did. You were a warrior and nothing less of one. You will get to see me grow up, watch me blossom into a mother and a wife one of these days. I know you will forever be by my side through every situation.
