Amy was a very precious part of our life. Her friends and family adored her and will always remember her. She made other people feel special, important, and always had a kind word to say. Our daughter was very active and involved in various clubs, organizations, and functions. We are proud for her many awards and achievements including honor roll, a Target scholarship and much more! She accomplished so much and worked very hard to achieve her goal. Amy definately teached students and touched many children's lives. We will never be the same without her genuine smile and her loving personality. Love you so much!!

To the Silverburg Family:
I just learned of the tragic loss of your daughter/sister about a week ago. I went to Desert Palms with Amy and High School as well. We were not especially close friends, but we spoke on occasion and knew many of the same people. Amy was such a delightful person with an enormous amount of friends due to her vibrant and kind personality. I will never forget her gorgeous curly hair and beautiful smile that everyone talks about. I was so sad to hear about this and did the research to find her obit and this guest book. Everyone I have told of this tragedy that attended Desert Palms or Ironwood was very shocked and saddened to hear of her passing. Please know that all of us who knew Amy in any capacity are thinking of her and your family even six months later and wonder why something tragic had to happen to such a wonderful, intelligent vibrant young lady. God bless you.

Amy,
It took me awhile to get up the strength to write in this. It's been a month and 2 weeks since you're passing, and it still seems like it just happened. So many thoughts n memories run through my head. I'll never forget those 3 days of being in the hospital w/ your family. Those were probably the most emotional days of my life. I know everyone will miss you tons and you were loved so much! You had so many friends and there was at least 300 people at the funeral. I don't think we'll ever know or understand why you had to be taken away from us, but I'm sure God has a plan. You were truely an angel on Earth and I guess it was just time for you to go home.
I pray that Stacy finds peace one day and her whole family. You and Stacy were so close, and it hurts me to see my best friend like this. BUT, I know you're looking down on us and I know you'll always be watching out for Stacy. =) You were such an amazing sister to her and a best friend!
You're going to be missed so much and not just be me, but by hundreds of people. I know you truely lived a full filled life. You did so much and were involved in so much. I'm still in shock of how much stuff you had. haha. You were such a pack rat! =D
Well I could go on and on, and just keep rambling about all the memories, but I won't. I'll just leave it as I love you and I'm going to miss you so much. You'll always be in my heart and I'll never forget you!
Love you!
Shannon

Jeff and Diane,
My family and I wish to express our deepest sympathy for the loss of your beautiful daughter. No words could ever explain to you the pain you are feeling at this time. We too, lost our son in a car accident almost three years ago, and the only way I can find peace with it, is knowing God needed him more than we did here on earth. Time is the only thing that helps you heal. May all your beautiful memories help you through this. God Bless you all.

Amy always had a way to make the people around her feel good. She had an amazing smile and always knew how to make you laugh. Amy was my “little sis” in our sorority and great friend. My husband put it the best when he told me that God must have taken her because He needed a wonderful teacher up in Heaven. I can’t imagine any other reason He would take such an amazing girl. She will be forever missed and never forgotten.

Amy will be deeply missed. We met at NAU, became sorority sisters and then teachers together. We then started our masters together. Amy changed my life forever. Amy it still doesn't seem real that I can't pick up my phone and call you whenever I want. I know that you're still with me no matter what, and having a BLAST looking through the COACH outlet store here; but I still can't help but wish that you hadn't gone home quite yet. I've somehow managed to acquired some new best friends and what looks like a new sister (who we will now call Mini-Amy). It's amazing how losing just you has brought so much to us. I will NEVER forget you or any of our wild adventures. You were/are such an amazing person and an even better friend! RIP sweetie...

Amy,
You are always my inspiration in life. You are such a loving, caring and amazing sister and friend to millions of other people. You touched so many lives including all the children you teached. Just seeing their faces at the funeral made me cry. YOU ARE MY BESTEST FRIEND I ever have. I will always remember all the memories we had together. We always would sing in front of the camera mom, you, and I would sing row row your boat, as well as many others. I even tried to get you to sing as she screamed no while trying to comfort her. I was the one that loved to tag along to shop or go to the movies with her friends. I used to wait for you to fall asleep and then I would sneak into her room and jump into the room to try to wake her up for a midnight snack without my parents knowing. Nights we were scared we would turn to our parents room and sleep on the floor next to the bed to keep the boogeyman away. You are my everything! You are my big sister who was LOVED BY SO MANY PEOPLE, had such a good heart touching so many of us, and IS MY ROLE MODEL!! You have so much going for you. Your principal chris barnes considered you to one day be principal!! Your outgoing and bubbly personality are a part of both of us. You always could make me laugh and smile with your silly ways. There will never be a day that I will forget about you because you are AlWAYS A PART OF ME so everyday I am going to be thinking about you, all of your friends, and Carmelle will too!! All of your friends have been so supportive to me. Words can't describe the pain and suffering mom, dad, I, friends, the school staff, are going through but we know you will always be here with us!! You are such a strong, healthy woman that had a magnificent life for twenty-five years! P.S. don't be haunting liz cause she said she would have a heart attack!! EVERYONE LOVES YOU!! Where to even begin..you talk with her one day, make plans to hang out and she's gone the next day!!! I will miss everything about this angel! She's the one I went to when I had problems, wanted to go shopping, travel, talk, have happy hour..I will miss our 4 and 5 hour telephone conversations talking about everything under the sun!!! Your smile and your heart will be remember by me and everyone you touched!! You were a true blessing to me and the world you came in contact with!! When I read this peom, I thought it was perfect!!! My you rest in peace! I can't wait til the day we get to see each other again!!
To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through, God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."
It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man."
God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb; but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain, then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile, knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low, just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind; I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.
And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free, remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

Ms. Silverberg was an inspiration to our daughter Kathrynn during her 4th grade year. Kathrynn had a tuff time in grade school, but Amy made it better, she understood her and became her friend. Because of their special relationship, Kathrynn loved school. We often saw Amy out and about. She always was friendly, had a smile on her face and stopped us to chat. She was a good friend for the short time we knew her.We were deeply saddened more than we thought we would be.Amy was so young and impressionable. I feel for her family who has lost such an angle. But I hope they find comfort that their daughter left a lasting impression on adults and children a like. She will be greatly missed. Her family will be in our prayers. We plan to donate to Amy's cause.

I was one of Ms. Silverbergs' first student she taught when she began her teaching career, I was in the 4th grade. I am now in the 7th grade. She was very special to me and made me feel special. She became a friend who I frequently visited. I am very sad she is gone and I don't know why, but my mommy says Angles on Earth have to go to Heaven to continue their work. I will miss her a lot.

I haven't seen Amy since high school, but I'll never forget all of the great times we had: eraser fights in Mrs Kirst's Spanish class, rides home from school, or when I drove my car into her parents' front yard on Graduation night (admit it...that was actually kinda funny). Amy, you're the type of person that no one could ever forget. I'll remember you for the rest of my life, and I'll always think back to those fun times we had in high school and smile.

I knew Amy from childhood and I have always had her in my life. She is the person I shopped with and got advice from. She would always come to my parents house for dinner or to see my niece and nephew. We were at each other's Birthday Parties growing up and I will never forget all her swim parties. I spoke to her the day before her accident and we had just scheduled our trip to see Mirie in Cali. Amy always had the best laugh and smile and she was a person you could really tell anything. Everyone loved Amy and she was even friends with her ex-boyfriends. She gave me the advice to always say something nice to my boyfriend before we go to bed each night. Amy was an Angel that touched our life for years but now she was needed in another place. She will always be my best friend.

I was blessed to have known Amy because I worked with her at Corte Sierra last year as the preschool aide. She always had a smile on her face and it lit up the whole school. You could tell that teaching was not just a job to her but it was her passion. It's going to be difficult not seeing her smiling face each day as I drive to pick up my daughter. She is already greatly missed. To her family and close friends, I pray for you as you deal with the loss of such a wonderful person.

Ms. Amy Silverberg was a great teacher who I could talk with about anything. I was one of her students and she always thought I had great potential. I used to stay with her after school to hang out with her and help her out and we had good times, she was more like a sister to me. She will always be in my prayers and my thoughts.

No words can express the sorrow I feel for Amy's family. She truly was one of a kind; she made everyone who came in contact with her feel special. Many people will miss her laugh, smile, sincerity, and warmth -- those who did not get to experience it missed out on a sensational person. Amy, we love and miss you so much.

I just heard about this incredibly tragic loss. I want to extend my deepest sympahties to Stacy and the entire Silverberg family. I had the chance to meet this beautiful young lady and noticed how likeable she was right away. Just like stacy. Her and Stacy's relationship was undeniably close and i know forever will be in her heart. Honestly if you ever need anything or if Stacy just wants to talk i am here for her completely. Love, Brittany (Stacys old roommate) & Robyn (her mom)

I have truly been blessed to have had the opportunity to be a part of Amy's life. Her passing is tragic as Amy was an incredible person. Time spent with Amy was always sure to be full of smiles and laughter. No matter what was happening in my life, Amy was always able to bring a smile to my face. She was so unique, such a beautiful soul and her passing has left a painful void in my life and the lives of so many others. I am so thankful to have had the opportunity to let her know how proud I was of her. I will miss her and my prayers are with all of you as we grieve together and celebrate the life of someone so special.

As parents to one of Ms. Silverberg's students last year, we found her to be nothing less than sincere, sweet and extremely helpful. She was a very special teacher that spent extra time and energy working with our daughter, which made a huge difference in her reading grades. Our thoughts and prayers are with Amy's family, friends and students.

I am very sorry for your loss.I had the honor to know Amy in high school and after graduation. One great memory that I have is the time we all stayed at James and Katie Foulds house and went tubing down the salt river. We all stayed up till the wee hours of the morning and caravaned to the river. There must have been 10-15 friends together which made for some good water fights. We all had a blast.I will miss that bright smile she always had on her face.Again,I am very sorry for your loss and she will be deeply missed.
