Fitzhugh, Anderson E.
Anderson E. Fitzhugh, 81, of Glendale, passed away on July 23, 2014. He was born on August 26, 1932, to Willis and Mary (Henry) Fitzhugh in Guntersville, AL. On June 8, 1958 he married Frances Clifton in Chico, CA. Anderson retired as an Air Force Tech Sgt. after 20 years of honorable service. He was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Glendale, AZ. Anderson is survived by his loving spouse of 56 years Frances, children, Michelle Fitzhugh-Craig, Brian Gerard Fitzhugh, Kenneth Michael Fitzhugh, Lysa M. Fitzhugh; brother, Julian A. Fitzhugh; grandchildren Lawrence B. Craig, Kamiryn E. Craig, Danielle N. Craig, Lorenzo J. Craig; and a large extended family. Memorial Mass will be celebrated on July 31, 2014, at 11:00 am at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 5614 W Orangewood Ave., Glendale, AZ 85301.
Anderson will be laid to rest at Holy Cross Cemetery, Avondale, AZ at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please visit heritagefuneralchapels.com for donation recipients chosen by the family.
