Arthur Soben Obituary
Dr. Soben was born and raised in Lakewood, NJ. He was a high school honor student, a tennis player, a band member, and an Eagle Scout. He graduated from Rutgers University and George Washington University Medical School. His postgraduate residency training was completed in New York. He was a well-respected urologist, who practiced in California and Arizona for over 30 years, before retiring in 2010. He played piano throughout his life and loved music. In his retirement, he became an avid golfer. He loved food and experimenting in the kitchen.
He was a devoted husband, loving father and grandfather, esteemed physician, talented musician, aspirational chef, and enthusiastic golfer. He will always be remembered for his sense of humor and his ability to make others laugh.

Dear Phyllis, I remember Art from our days at Douglass when he was courting you. I was saddened to hear about his illness and your loss after your many years together. May his memory be a blessing to you and the family.
