To all who read this: my Grandmother was the strongest, smartest women I have ever known in my life. She always took time for her family and friends and anyone she encountered. She would do anything to help anyone, she was truley a caring sole. She never turned anyone away in her life and always had time for all of her kids and grandkids. She truley tried to see the good in people and always gave us advice and tried to point us in the right direction. I remember when my mother would drop me off at her house when I was a kid for her to watch me. I would play wih my cousins Rachelle, Angela and little Mark. She would always make us egg sandwiches and to this day I have never been able to copy the way she made them. Maybe thats because she made them with so much love is why they tasted better than anything. It was the little things she did that made us all feel special to her and made us grow up to be good people. I use to watch game shows with her for hours when I was younger, our favorites were "super market sweep" and "Press your luck". Her and I would sit there yelling at the tv "No wammies No wammies". It was so fun. She taught me so much over the years, things that I will never forget. She would also let me make mistakes and then try to make me see what I did wrong or how to fix a problem. She loved her family and her kids were always her top prority in life, this is what she lived for. Then her grandkids came into the world. She loved each and everyone of us grandkids. I will always remeber her in a way that is hard to describe because as far as I can remember she has always been there to go see, and hangout with or just call her on the phone to say hi, I love you or to ask her questions. There was never a question I asked her that she did not know the answer to and if she was unsure she would find out to make sure. It didn't matter what it was she always took time to take care of us all in one way or another. I write this today in a good way because as my family is sad for such a big loss in our lives, we all sit back and remember the good times and the caring heart she had for everyone. I will truely miss you Grandma but just know that we will all be fine and take everything you taught us all along the way and hold it dear to our heart and teach it to our kids and their kids. So your lessons and your memory will live on thru all generations to come. I would like to thank everyone for their support in this time of need, for all your thoughts and prayers for my entire family we all appreciate it very much. I pray for God to watch out for my Grandma Audrey while she meets up with my grandfather and uncle Gary, until we all meet up with her again and know that she is safe and no longer in pain and for that I am thankful. She will truley be missed and never forgotten as long as we all shall live. So in closing I love you grandma more than anything and I will stay strong like you asked me to and will do my best to stay strong for all our family. I LOVE YOU, always have and always will. Rest in peace untill we meet again.
Love your grandson,
David Gushert
