Barbara Hendrickson Obituary
79, of Phoenix, AZ passed away on January 28, 2015. Originally from Bethlehem, PA, Barbara was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, teacher, and friend who touched the lives of many. She is survived by her husband of 54 years Bob, her children Rob (Kristin) Hendrickson & Suzy (Steve) McKenzie, her six grandchildren Mat, Kayla, Sydney, Payton, Katie, and Lizzy, and her dog Zoe. Barbara loved teaching at the Wilson School in Mountain Lakes, NJ and running the Evening Eagles program at Phoenix Country Day School. Above all, no one loved her family more than Barbara. She also loved to play Let It Ride at the casino, and she loved her chardonnay. She was an avid sports fan and was well known for her enthusiasm at her children's sporting events. She was an incredibly loyal wife, mother, grandmother, and dog owner. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Barbara Hendrickson Memorial Fund at Bank of America for medical and family expenses. A celebration of her life will be held at Rob and Kristin's house, Sunday, February 8, from 1 to 4 PM. For more information on the celebration and the Memorial Fund, please email [email protected].
