Dear Pete and Family,
I am so grateful that I had the chance to meet Barbara, she was a wonderful person, and I know she will be deeply missed by you and your family. I will think of her each time I walk into the gym to watch a Sunnyslope Vikings basketball game, they won't be the same without her! My thoughts and prayers will be with you.

I've known Barb Partridge since 1985 or so (the year I left the Navy and moved to Arizona). I met Barb and Pete while competing in the Maricopa Classic. Barb was an ardent supporter of competitive bowling, leagues and tournaments. Over the years I learned of Barb's competitive excellence in a rich team sport environment that was the Valley of the Sun in the 50's 60's, 70's. Barb was never one to push her past victories on us late-comers but, when asked, I was amazed at what she and others accomplished here and how humble she was in discussing past exploits. As a bowler, the vast majority of us counted Barb as a friend and one that always tried to do the best for our sport. My sympathies go out to the Holmes, Partridge and Palacio families, and other relatives as we mourn her passing but celebrate a life lived brightly.
