Beth Parr Obituary

Beth Ann Parr
Beth passed away on December 24th, 2012 at the age of 58 following a 9 month battle against cancer. How appropriate our beautiful angel would join her savior on the eve of His birthday. Beth was born October 28, 1954 in Belleville, Illinois to Bill and Ann Stuart. In 1965 they moved to Phoenix where she attended and graduated from St. Mary's High School and Phoenix College. Beth graduated with honors from ASU Nursing School and a short time later joined Hospice of the Valley where she found her true joy and calling. For more than 15 years Beth lovingly served her patients and their families with compassion, skill and a sweet caring attitude. Beth possessed a natural way of making everyone feel loved and appreciated. She shared her lovely, gracious smile with everyone she met and was an example of strength, gentleness and service to others. Her faith was inspiring to all who knew her.

Beth is survived by her husband Michael, mother Ann Stuart, sisters Susan Kirsch and Mary Stuart-Bronski, stepson Adam Hjerpe, and grandchildren Corban and Lazaree, along with many other family members and countless friends.

A memorial service will be held at Open Door Fellowship Church January 26th at 1:30pm located at 8301 N. 19th Ave., Phoenix. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Hospice of the Valley, the great organization Beth loved and worked for.

Dear Stuart family, I was just informed of this very sadden information regarding Beth. I am truly stunned, sadden and having a difficult time processing this. I send all my love and condolences to Mrs Stuart, Susie, Mary and all of Beth's family and spouse. I can only pray that God touches all of you with His Peace and Joy and Comfort. This truly is a painful loss of a loved one. However, how wonderful it must be for those in Heaven who greeted Beth with angels, saints and God's hands and arms. May God's Love be with all of you all the days of your lives. Gods' Peace, from a friend, George Gonzalez, 602-505-3315.

To the Stuart Family;
Our prayers are with you at this difficult time. We, too lost our sister Alex, to this disease 11 years ago. Alex and Beth were friends from way back to the St. Catherines days. May Our Blessed Mother cradle them in Her arms. God bless you.
