Bradley Hoover Obituary

Hoover, Bradley Lawrence
48, of Scottsdale, AZ and formerly of Lake Bluff, IL passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, October 23, 2010 at Seton Medical Center in Daly City, CA. A Memorial Service in his honor will be held Thursday, November 4 at 5:00 PM at Mueller Funeral Home in Peru, IL. Visitation will from 2-5:00 PM on Thursday at the funeral home. Brad was born December 18, 1961 in Ohio to Lawrence and Norma (Thomas) Hoover. He married Michelle Wray Foote on October 21, 1989 in Granville, IL. Brad was a loving husband, father, and son who lived his life with incredible enthusiasm and passion for everything that he treasured. His primary passion was his children and his wife, and he was always ever present in their lives, coaching them and teaching them everything they needed to know to be kind, happy and successful. His second passion was Tequila CORRIDO, the business he founded two short years ago. Although he was relatively new to the tequila industry, Brad quickly became regarded as a thought leader through his knowledge of how to make premium tequila and through his promotion of the beauty behind that process. His passion for only creating the best resulted in his tequilas winning many prestigious awards. He will always be remembered for his entertaining wit, his friendliness, his ability to form quick friendships and his energy and passion for everything he did. Making the impossible happen was a key driving force in his life. Salud Brad. Brad is survived by his wife, Michelle and his two sons, Grant (age 11) and Calvin (age 9) of Scottsdale, AZ; his parents Lawrence and Norma Hoover of Peru, IL and his two sisters, Debbie Harris and Yvonne Nichols. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Hattie Hoover. In lieu of flowers and in memory of Brad, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 4550 E. Bell Rd. Ste 126, Phoenix AZ 85032 or online at www.cancer.org. The online guestbook may be viewed and remembrances shared at www.MuellerFH.com.

My condolences to Brad's family as well as to the many associates, friends and fans he cultivated.

I only knew Bradley since 2008, when he launched Tequila Corrido. His depth of knowledge on the subject of agave spirits was unbounded and he was always the first to pass that information along to anyone indicating an interest.

However, knowledge and ingenuity aside, if success is measured by energy & passion alone, Corrido should be the best-selling Tequila on the market. Salud Bradley.

I wish to extend my deepest sympathy and condolences to Michelle, Grant and Calvin for their loss. I had the honor of knowing Brad throughout the years while I lived in Florida, Minnesota and Illinois. During our times together, the conversation always revolved around his family and discussion of how he could be a better husband and dad. I hope you find comfort in knowing that he cherished each of you and will always be there to watch over you.

May your hearts be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times you shared together as you celebrate a life well lived.

Guests of the gracious Brad and Michelle at their home earlier this year, we appreciated Brad's kindness for family and passion for Corrido. His wit and humor were much enjoyed on a long road home from el paso one windy rainy night. Tony and Greg Whitehorn

Although we did not know Brad personally, we felt like we did through various phonecalls over the past 6 years. He seemed like a very personable guy. Our sincere condolences to his wife and children.
