David and Darlene, I am so sorry for your loss and pray that you move out of saddness and loss to joy knowing you had him for 19 precious years. Your Dear Brian will be with you and your family forever. Reach out to him and still embrace him in your lives. Celebrate his life and keep him with you. What a lovely looking young man he is.

Im not quite sure what to write down. I was surprised with the news of Brians passing because oddly enough him and I had just gotten back in touch. We had been talking and texting eachother daily and when I hadnt heard from him all day I text him only to get a phone call that he was gone. I cant express how much I miss him. His last words to me were so beautiful and great that his memory stays with me everyday. I never got to meet his parents but he talked of them often and two days before he came over only to find us talking about life in general. who he wanted to become and how much he loved the new addition to the family. He showed me pics of the new baby and was excited to say he was now an uncle. Im so sorry for the families loss. Please let me know if there is absolutely anything I can do. I attended the memorial and it was so comforting to know just how many people came to give their support. Your smile will always be in my memories Brian and soon we will see you again. I love you and miss you more than you know!

David and Family,

Although I did not know Brian personally, I feel like I knew a lot about him and his joy for life through the many work conversations where his name was mentioned by his dad (with a smile on his face). Over the years I have listened to David speak about his son growing up even prior to the day I met Brian during a “bring your kids to work” event many years ago. Oh what a bright future it seems Brian had ahead of him on his journey through life. May you and your family find happiness treasuring great moments you had with Brian – ones that remain etched in your mind forever in celebration of his life. And may your reflecting upon all that you did to nourish your son to adulthood provide you with comfort and lessen the pain you must be feeling over his shortened life on earth.

I knew Brian through one of my friends and from the stories I heard, Brian was the sweetest guy, very handsome (which he was) and always had a smile on his face. The loss of him is heart breaking. Brian and his family are in my heart and my prayers. May you find comfort in knowing that he is watching down on us most likely smiling.

David, we have known each other for a very long time. When I look back, I remember little things, like seeing your young children and wife bringing you into work. It’s those little things and what you have shared that show me the love your family has for one another. I can’t even express how deeply sorry I am. I know this is not an easy time and I hope you and your family are able to find comfort and peace.

Although I did not know Brian personally I knew of him from the funny stories David shared with us and from those stories you knew the love he had for his son. It saddens me to think of such a great loss and sorrow fills my heart for all those who knew Brian and his family. Words will not make the pain go away, but please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family!

Dear Brother & Sister Harris, I was just reading this obit and thought how hurt your family must be. We try to let our kids live due to their free will, but it costs us the most. I have not lost my children so I cannot say that I know how you feel I will say I know the pain of loosing someone you love in other ways. May Jehovah be with you at this time cause you need that spirit to bear up. Love your sister

I hear Dave talk about his kids with the angst and pride that all proud papas have. We in MFO know how much Dave loves his children and wife and also that his bark must be worse then his bite.
SO very very sorry.
