Carolyn Casteel Obituary
Congress - Carolyn Sedgwick Casteel of Congress, 84, passed from her Earthly home to her eternal home with her Savior on May 7, 2020 surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in San Antonio, Texas. After marriage she ended up in Arizona. She lived in Ajo, Phoenix, Glendale, and Congress.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years Asa Casteel; sons James (Marina) and Brian (Irmi), daughters Cindy Atchley (Steve) and Laurel Sergent (David).
Also 5 grandchildren and 3 great granddaughters. She taught Sunday School for 54 years, and played piano for the churches she attended.
She had a great love of children. As a devoted child of the King, she left behind a powerful legacy of faith for her children and grandchildren.
Services are pending. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Baptist Children's Services.

To anyone who knew my grandma: We're having a memorial service for her on Friday, October 16th, 2020 at 11am at First Baptist Church of Congress located at 22050 Sunrise Rd, Congress, AZ 85332. We hope to see you all there!

My grandma (Carolyn), is exactly the kind of grandma and great grandma to my kids, that I hope to be someday. She was the most loving woman that I ever met! I miss her tremendously, but I know for a fact that she's celebrating in Heaven with our Lord and Saviour.
