Chris was a great neighbor here in Ahwatukee. Many Block Parties were held in their driveway. She was a very beautiful person and I'm still in touch with her family and now we all miss Bill as well as Chris.

Bill - I still have very clear memories of Chris as one of my fourth grade teachers when I became the principal at Western Hills. After several years there, the one thing that I recall about Chris is that she seemed to be the "voice of reason," at I always wanted her to know that it was truly appreciated. Are your ready for some tennis doubles?

Bill - I lovingly remember Chris as one of my teachers when I was principal at Western Hills. What a "pro" she was. My heartfelt condolences to you and your family.

Chris was so special to me! I started out as her teacher aide in 4th grade at Western Hills in WDM. From the beginning she treated me as a co-teacher and gave me valuable experience. The following year I was hired as a teacher right next to Chris...and I know she helped me get that job! We had 10 fun years teaching together. Chris and Bill became good friends and we treasure these memories. Carol and Dick Seehafer.

I was so fortunate to have married into Aunt Chris' family. What a wonderful person she was - always welcoming, happy, funny and caring. She was loved by us all and we felt loved by her too. She will be dearly missed. To Bill, Diane, Steve and families, my sincere sympathy for your loss. Much love to you, Niece-in-law Donna

Many great memories of Aunt Chris will always be in my heart. What a wonderful woman! She will be greatly missed... and in our thoughts and prayers always!

March 22, 2012

I am a good friend of Donna Grim, Chris' niece. She introduced me to the Clark family many years ago when they still lived in Iowa. From that moment on I became part of the "family" and have always considered Chris to be my aunt too! I made my way to Arizona a few years after the Clarks. When I married my husband (who is also a Bill) he became "family" too. We have had many good times together over the years. She was a very special lady and our lives have been enriched because she was our friend. Our heartfelt condolences for your loss. Love, Lauren (Amspoker) and Bill Newton

Dear Bill and family

The memories of friends and laughter come rushing back.....friends around the bridge table, playing Indian poker, the image of you two and the bridge group hiding out at your house while Gayle and I searched everywhere for you, Gene and I visiting you in the Easter bunny costume, all the many Kiwanis couples events, and picnics, and of course our visit to you in 2001 with dinner together at Rustler's Rooste.
Today, with the loss of Chris, my heart and prayers are with you.
She was so blessed to have you by her side in life, and through these recent years especially. Thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
God bless.
Sally

Aunt Chris will be missed by many of us. It is in her passing that we may carry good memories of her close to our hearts.
We can be grateful to have shared life with her, and the gifts she gave us through family ties.
Rest well Chris.
