Christopher Sherwood Obituary

Sherwood, Christopher Cam
born as the baby in his family on December 14, 1984 in Mesa, Arizona to D'Wayne and Marla (Winsor) Sherwood. He passed away January 19, in Hanoi, Vietnam. His life will be celebrated by his loving parents, as well as his five siblings: Jaimi (David) Ethington, Neisha (Tony) Merrell, DJ (Taffy) Sherwood, Josh (Karissa) Sherwood, Tyson (Kinsey) Sherwood. His 12 nephews and 7 nieces will miss late night hang outs and great laughs with Uncle Cam. Cam, a true optimist, brought the fun! He knew how to persist in hard things and was able to earn his Eagle Scout despite hating to camp. He found happiness wherever he was and even though his life was not without trials… he never gave up! He lived his life in full color and wanted to share that with others so he received his degree in 2008 from Northern Arizona University in Hotel and Restaurant Management. Always the adventurous spirit, he never knew a stranger. Cam's love for the unknown set his life on a journey that spanned the globe. In just under 30 years, Cam's travels took him to over 12 different countries and across the continental United States. Surely though, his greatest adventures are yet to come! Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, February 1, 2014 at the Queen Creek Chandler Heights LDS Church, 7361 S. 164th St., Gilbert, AZ 85298. A visitation will be held from 8:00 am - 9:30 am prior to the service. Bueler Chandler Mortuary

I was so saddened to read of Cam's passing. He was such a cute little boy when I saw him last. Glad that he got to experience so much of this life and that it is only a temporary separation for your family. I miss seeing you and we are praying for your peace. Much love,
