Daniel R. Aguayo, 91 of Gilbert AZ passed away at home on Jan. 25, 2016. Daniel was born Jan. 3, 1925 in Sonora Ray, AZ. He was preceded in death by his wife Catalina, son Daniel Jr., parents Alejandro and Angela as well as all 8 siblings. He is survived by his children Michella Schatz, Arnold (Jane), 18 grandchildren, 44 great grandchildren 11 great great grandchildren, numerous extended family members and friends. Daniel was a WWII Army Veteran. Services will be held Thursday, Feb. 4th 2016 at
Resthaven/Carr Tenney Mortuary, 4310 E Southern Ave Phoenix, AZ. Viewing 9:00a.m. Rosary 10:30 a.m. Funeral Service 11:00am. Arrangement entrusted to www.resthavencarrtenney.com.

Dear Tio & Family,
It is with great sadness for me to see your life here on earth come to an end. I remember with fondness all the times you pinched my cheek and called Chris, Yvonne and myself pretty girl. I will miss you and your carnitas I pray your family is comforted by the Almighty at this time.

RIP Daniel
I remember when I was eight years old and I went over to get some milk from his mom Angelita, my Aunt Mary lived next door as I waited, he asked if I knew how to cut potatoes I replied with no. He quickly showed me how so that i wouldn't cut my fingers, I never forgot that. I have often thought of that time as I've cut potatoes for supper.
