Daniel Conaway Obituary

Conaway, Daniel "Dan" Wayne
Dan lost his life on Wednesday November 9, 2016 after a fatal car crash. Dan's passion for his family inspired all of those who knew him. He was a loving and caring person, devoted husband, father and friend. He loved to laugh and his unforgettable smile opened doors and softened hearts. Dan was born October 12, 1971, in Phoenix, Arizona. In 2002 he married the love of his life, Angel Paxton. In 2004 and 2008, he was proud and delighted to welcome his two children Aidan and Elliot into his life. Before building a family, Dan was a bricklayer with the Local BAC #3. He worked with his father for ten years constructing buildings all over the valley. Long after he stood beside them, co-workers, friends and family grieve the loss of his strength and leadership. Beyond that, his profession as a taxi driver was truly a job that he loved. Through this passion he kept hundreds of his friends & clients safe, for the last decade of his life. Dan was predeceased by his grandparents Helen and Robert Bloomfield and his dear friend Richard Barrett. His beautiful life will be cherished in the lives of those he leaves behind; his wife Angel, his children Aidan and Elliot, his parents Charlotte and Wayne, his sister Sarah Garrett, his Mother-In-Law Anne Paxton. His absence will leave an enormous void in our hearts. He was a loyal friend, who celebrated life with music and laughter. He lived everyday in a state of grace and now we pray for the strength to move on without him. A candlelight memorial service is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on November 15th at Lincoln Heights Christian Church. A private graveside service for family and friends will be held on November 16th at 2:00 p.m. at Phoenix Memorial Park.
