Lynch, Daniel Claude Jr.
82 died quietly in his home Tuesday afternoon Dec. 17 after a short illness. Son of Dan & Lena Lynch he was born in Lowell, Mass on Dec 8, 1931. In Lowell he graduated from Northeastern University in Boston with a degree in chemical engineering. After working in Massachusetts for several years he was inducted into the army serving 2 years at Fort Detrick in Frederick , Md. Following his service he returned to Ma. Where he lived until emigrating to Arizona in 1977. He worked for Honeywell until he retired in 1996. Dan is survived by his wife of 54 years, Verna Parkinson Lynch. 2 sons, D. Christopher and Thomas Edwin. A daughter Margaret Sansone, a brother John J. Lynch of Lowell, 3 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. An active member for many years, a memorial service will be held at St.Jeromes Catholic Church on Dec. 27 at 10 am with visitation at 9:30 in the church. In lieu of flowers gifts may be sent to Arizona Heart Assoc. American Cancer Society, St.Jeromes Memorial Fund, Miss Foundation, or the Phoenix Conservatory of Music.
