David Dicken Obituary

David Charles Dicken, of Phoenix, passed away September 22, 2003, after a brief and courageous struggle with cancer. He was born January 22, 1955, in Decatur, Illinois, and was - educated in Illinois and in Arizona, where he spent most of his life. Dave loved work, play, family & friends. To all these things, he brought his own brand of enthusiasm, determination, responsiblity, and wry humor. He worked as a general superintendent of construction project sites, leading his coworkers as well as laboring alongside them. When not working, he read voraciously, spent time with loved ones, and always found something to laugh about. Dave willingly took on the role of father for his two stepchildren, Joey and Jill Kronenberg, who will miss him dearly. His memory will also be treasured by his wife Jayne, his friends Jeff Livingston and Mike Bryant, his father, Glen Dicken, and his brothers, Rob and Richard. Memorial Service at 3pm, Thurs., Shadow Mountain Mortuary, 2350 E. Greenway Rd., Phoenix.
