It is with great sadness that the family of David Styes mourns the loss of his passing on Thursday, March 31, 2011. He was at home with his wife Chris by his side. David was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and dear friend. He is survived by his wife Christine, children Roger Turnell Jr. and Jody Gantos (Pat), beloved grandchildren Hunter and Jordan, sister Jeanne Belcher, brothers Steven and Lon Styes, father Jack Styes and the dogs he loved so much, Princess and Coco. He was preceded in death by his mother Joan and his brother Lee. A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 8th at 3:00pm at All Saints Lutheran Church, 15649 N. 7th Street, Phoenix, AZ. A gathering to celebrate his life will follow at the Styes' family home. David, please do not be non-compliant in Heaven. We miss you... I had the pleasure of working with Dave at Stonecreek Golf Club. Although I didn't know Dave very long, he stood out as a gaint among men! Dave would give you the shirt off his back without hesitation. Dave will be missed greatly! Take comfort in knowing that now you have a special guardian angel to watch over you.
