David Tollefson Obituary

David Andrew Tollefson David Andrew Tollefson, 21, of San Diego, CA, passed away October 12, 2006. David was active duty Navy E3 AOAN (Aviation Ordinanceman Airman) on board the USS Nimitz at the time of his death. David was born in Gallup, NM November 26, 1984, and was a long time resident of Glendale, AZ. David played all sports and was a skilled skateboarder. He was a talented artist and an avid reader who wrote poetry. He enjoyed music and played the alto sax and guitar. His sense of humor was uplifting and a joy to all. David was a devoted son, brother and friend who will be missed deeply by all whose heart he touched. David is survived by his wife Amanda; mother Laurie (Bob) Heninger; father Dave (Rebecca) Tollefson; brothers Robert Heninger and Nathan Tollefson; and sister Anna Tollefson. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, October 21, 2006 at 3 PM at Heritage Funeral Chapel, 6830 W. Thunderbird Rd, Peoria, AZ. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent in David Tollefson's name to the Fisher House Foundation, Inc., 1401 Rockville Pike Suite 600, Rockville, MD, 20852. HERITAGE
