Don was my grandpa, and I was know he was a very amazing person. I am 11 years old, and my cousins, cousin's children, and aunts and uncles and my parents were all very sad the he passed away. But I am also a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and I know I will see my grandpa again.

Don was such a nice person who was a fine contributor to the great legacy of Sunnyslope High School. He helped both students and teachers over the years. My sincere condolences to his family.

We knew Don through Gene and Marvell Taylor and came to appreciate him over the years as we would visit the ranch. We express our sympathy and express respect for Don, and for Ellen; one has to think of them together.

During semester grade reporting I had the pleasure of sitting next to Don. He had such a dry sense of humor and he made me laugh a lot. Don was a caring, giving teacher and he will be missed.

Don, "Mr Squires", as that is the only way I ever addressed him was a great mentor and the absolute best auto shop teacher ever! Mr Squires is the reason I spent most of my life in the automotive industry. Mr Squires was even a customer after I was in business for myself. R I P , Mr Squires, you will be truly missed and condolences to all family members.
