Maywald, Doris Joan (McClanahan)
73, Passed away February 6th, 2015 with her family by her side. Born May 27th, 1941 in Cincinnati Ohio and raised in Bethel/ Loveland Ohio. Graduated from Loveland H.S. class of 1959. She moved the family to Phoenix in 1972 to start a new life. Joan worked various accounting/clerical jobs over the years and retired from Oakwood Corp. Housing in 2004. Predeceased by her parents Burdette & Mary Avinelle McClanahan, sister Detta Pryor. Survived by Sisters Barbara Horrigan, Patty (Terry) Dill. Children Charles (Julie) Decker, Doug (Karen) Decker, Kathy Mellor. Grandchildren Michael, Jason, Mark, Steven, Joseph, Josh, Dustin, Caitlin, Brianna. Great-Grandchildren Rebecca, Samantha, Kyla, Shane, Ian. A celebration of life will take place Wednesday, February 11, 2015 from 3-5 PM at St. Johns Manor, 7215 N. 51st Ave Glendale AZ, 85301.

Joan will be missed she was a wonderful person we had so many fun times together, a few tears and sooo many laughs she will remain in my heart and memories as long as I live.
