we met edie and ernie by chance at bice in nyc as they sat at a table next to us. as we started talking, we discovered that they had a home in Scottsdale, and I had my parents contact them, as they were living there as well. they became fast friends until my parents passed away in 2000 and 2001. we also enjoyed many interesting times with edie and ernie. we know how difficult this must be for ernie and the rest of the family. we will miss her, and we send you all our deepest and heartfelt condolences.

Dear Ernie and family, what wonderful memories I have that my late husband Paul and I shared with Edie and Ernie on the golf course at Pinnacle Peak, many dinners, concerts and good times. I will miss her always. She was a lovely, beautiful lady! My wishes also go out for Ernie's well being. Love, Thelma Byers

Edie and Ernie were Downtown Santa Fe regulars, great fans of art and so helpful to me when I was new in trade. They constantly gave me good advice and were very supportive. Edie was always dressed impecccably. We had lots of fun and jokes together. Rest in peace.

What VERY fond memories we have of dear Edie...and also of Ernie. They welcomed us so warmly, when we moved into the same neighborhood in Santa Fe more than 2 decades ago. We have missed them and will continue to do so. May Edith Schwartz' name always be remembered for a blessing. With deepest condolences, Barbara & Ron Balser
