Edwin Geist Obituary
Edwin Geist, 86, passed away Friday, March 20, 2015 in Glendale AZ. Born on a farm near Victoria, KS, he was the eldest of 5 siblings. Edwin was a Korean War Veteran who had also earned his Masters Degree from Fort Hays State College in Kansas and served as a teacher for more than 30 years. A devoted husband, father of four, grandfather of 11 and great grandfather of 22, was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Mary, his eldest son, Edwin Joseph, and his son-in-law Paul. Survivors include brothers Donald, Robert, Alan - sister Edna May, daughters Terry and Becky - son Mike, daughters-in-law Peggy and Jennifer and son-in-law Harold. He will be missed by all who knew him. Services will be held Tuesday, March 31, 10:00 A.M. at St. Simon and Jude Cathedral in Phoenix, AZ. National Cremation Society
