Elaine Wright Obituary
Peoria - Elaine "Susan" Wright, of Peoria, age 56, passed away unexpectedly on Friday June 15, 2018. From her birth in Phoenix, AZ, to her passing, she nurtured people around her with love, care, and laughter. She was born to Richard and Lucy Leonard. Susan was a respiratory therapist for 3 decades with the majority of her career at Banner Thunderbird Hospital and most recently with Phoenix Children's Hospital. Susan enjoyed reading a good book, spending time with her family and most of all she loved her grandchildren and traveling with her husband. She is remembered and loved by her husband, Terry Wright; three children, Eric Maestas; Tiffany Maestas; and Matt Cortes Jr.(Kristen); three step daughters, Dacarie Plowman (Joseph); Michelle Edwards; and Brittany Standridge (John); She is also survived by her grandchildren, brothers, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Family, friends, and anyone else whose lives Susan touched are invited to Christ Church of the Valley (CCV), 7007 W. Happy Valley Rd., Peoria, AZ 85383, building 400, at 3 p.m. on Friday, June 29, 2018, to celebrate her life, reminisce, grieve and support each other.

To the Wright Family: My heartfelt sympathies go out to the family and friends during this difficult time. I hope that the promise in 1 Thessalonians 4:14 can bring comfort. Knowing that there's a hope for the ones we have lost in death can be so reassuring.
