As children, we can't comprehend or fully realize the meaning of a grandmother's love. How wise she is, how much patience she has, or how much guidance she gives us by her example and by her helpful caring ways. Years go by before we know and understand the depth of her concern and the love in her protectiveness. But as we mature we do finally understand and we can look back and see through older eyes and wiser hearts her unconditional love, devotion, and family loyalty. It's these and many other things that make us realize how lucky we have been and how lucky we are to have this amazing woman - our grandmother - as the centered root of strength and love in our life.

Happy Birthday Grandma! We love and miss you!

Dear Gramms,
You were not only "Gramms" to me and my cousins, you were Gramms to everyone who knew you. That is how much of an impact you had on everyone, they all lovingly called you Gramms (or Gramma) and that always brought joy to my heart. Growing up next door to you, there are way too many memories to list but one that we all get a kick out of is when you came running to mom's house to help me get rid of a snake in the house! That was always you Gramms, fearless...the Lord broke the mold when he made you! I thank Him for making you my Gramms, you were a Blessing to all of us! My simple words can't express how sorely you will be missed by all of us but we are all happy that our Lord reunited you with Gramps and Tio Sap! Even though you're now in Heaven, you're still here in all of our hearts. We love you Gramms!

Tia "Lisa",
We will forever hold dear all the fond memories of us heading to Laughlin and you and Grandma (Vita) would get lost and try to find your way back to the casino!And....the times when you both would share meals- eating like little birds because you both had gambled your spending money on the first day there! These are just a few memories we got to share with you! Then one of your last outings was for my dad (Alex') birthday and you came in your cardinal colors....and smiled with joy when you saw everyone here..including your little sister...Vita! God bless you and you are now an angel watching over us. We love you and will miss you! To the Figueroa family and all related...please accept our condolences.
Sincerely,
Vince Sanchez and Family

I am truely going to miss you Grandma. All the great memories from taking me to my first day of preschool at the YMCA to you being at my high school graduation. Thank you so much for everything you have done when we needed a helping hand, you were always there for us. One last thing I will never forgot after all of us (grandsons) were done riding our bikes around your house, you gave us koolaid and your homemade tortillas with butter. I love you Grandma and you will always be in my heart forever!
