Floyd Anderson Obituary

Floyd Anderson

Scottsdale - Floyd Anderson, 68, of Scottsdale died November 4, 2018. Floyd moved with his parents and siblings to Scottsdale in 1962 from Illinois. He loved everything about Arizona, especially the heat. Floyd married Jodie in 1976 and they had two children, MyaDee and Kyla. He spent 43 years working for the original Food City and later Bashas'. Floyd created a wonderful life for his family and yet never missed a school concert or kids sporting event and even took the time to lead his daughter's Girl Scout troop.

He had a servant heart and would do anything for family and friends. His kindness, warmth and reassuring presence will be missed forever. His love was unconditional, and he put his family first...always! He found his greatest joy in being a grandfather to Liliana, Asher and Ronin Trivison.

Floyd is also survived by his brother Albert (Judy) Anderson, son-in-law Matthew Trivison, and many nieces, cousins and friends. In lieu for flowers, please send donations to Hospice of the Valley. Their kindness at the end was something he would have appreciated.

What I remember most is his smile! He was wonderful caring giving man. Worked with him at Food City and remained friends after. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family at this time!
