Fred Burkhardt Obituary
passed away on March 6, 2014 at the age of 74. Born in Buffalo, NY, he loved living in AZ. He was a former Police Officer for the Glendale Police Department and most recently a volunteer for the Yavapai Sherriffs Department and JCL Deer Valley Hospital. He was a loving husband, brother, father and grandfather. He is survived by his wife, his sons Richard and Andrew and daughter Alisa and 6 beautiful grandchildren. His service will be at the LDS chapel at 5220 W Pinnacle Peak Rd, Glendale 85310 from 1-3 pm on Saturday March 29, 2014.

Although I have not seen Fred for many many years I will always remember his mentorship when I joined the Glendale Police Department in 1964. We actually had a bachelor pad with two other officers for a short time. Fred was the "resident chef" for us that were lousy in the kitchen.
We had some really good times back then !
