I am writing this on behalf of my dad Gerry DiLaura: He was a great guy. People may have thought he was loud and some times grouchy but he had the biggest heart. He was my friend and I will miss him dearly. My heartfelt condolences to his entire family. On behalf of myself, Kelly Dilaura: please accept my most sincere condolences. My dad talked about him so often that I felt like I knew him too. God bless you.

Although George and I could disagree on most things, there was never any rancor after the fact and I Knew his word was his bond. He was a man of integrity. I know of no finer ephitet for a man than that. He will truly be missed here at Turf Paradise.

George I will miss you. The joy you brought to my daughters thru the barn and watching Superman, Max, Prince and that cranky Poncho will be memories you provided that will last forever. My father does not have many close close friends, You were at the top of that short list!
