I was saddened to hear of George's passing when talking to another former Garland Steel employee this past week. I did some research and through Legacy, they found the obituary for me. Many thanks to them.

George was always a very "special" person to me. I respected him highly. It was a pleasure to work with him. A very intelligent man, with a sense of humor and a feeling for everyone he met.

I have (had) not seen George for maybe 30 years, but I have thought of him many, many times and have kept up with his life through friends throughout the years. I will always remember him as a very "special" person.

I have been blessed more than humanly possible to describe, for the time I had with my Dad. Very few men my age will ever have the opportunity to spent 24/7 for 18 months with thier Dad. We were ADULTS together; we laughed every day; When we had differences, there would be long personal conversations and an agreement not to go to sleep on hurt feelings. I loved him deeply and will have pain for a long time, but he went in his sleep, and I can't hold it against God for my own answerwed prayers. I still feel his presence here in my (our) home, and I am grateful in spite of the pain...

George and Wicki were old family friends and it was always such a joy to see them, especially when they attended my wedding 12 years ago. I will always have fond memories of George's wonderful smile and the big hug he would give me whenever I would see him. George and the family are in my thoughts and prayers. What a beautiful person.

To the family of George Campbell,

I worked at Dr. Brazie's office a few years back. George was always the most wonderful, kind man. He would bring me Phoenix Sun's tickets so I could take my son to the game. He always had a smile on his face and something nice to say. He will be missed!! I know he has a special place in heaven. He was an angel. Sharing in your grief. Denise Bockmann
