George Daley Obituary
George Francis Daley, of Sun City West, AZ, passed away April 3, 2017. He was born in Omaha, NE on June 6, 1930 to Gerald & Helen Kleffner Daley. He attended schools in Omaha, NE and graduated from Creighton University in 1957. He served in the USAF during the Korean Conflict. He was employed by Motorola Semi-conductors in the finance department until his retirement in 1989. He is preceded in death by his parents, sisters Jean, Jerry and Carol and his brother Tom. He is survived by his wife of 63 years Dolores (Dee), sons Joseph and Patrick (Shelly), granddaughters Rebecca and Marissa (Jake) Thielen and new baby great granddaughter Eleanor Thielen. He is also survived by his brother Jack (Roberta) Daley. George optimistically lived with heart disease for 30 years. He treasured life and his family and as his health problems permitted, played golf, captained a Bocce team, ushered at church and worked with the computer club. He enjoyed his friendships in his working years and in his retirement. Memorial Mass will be celebrated at Prince of Peace church in Sun City West, AZ at 10 AM on April 22, 2017. Private burial at Holy Redeemer Cemetery. If desired, memorials to Juvenile Diabetes Research Fund (J.D.R.F.)

I was transferred to the Finance department just before George return to the states (I was the new kid on the block). George reminded me of a special uncle I had at the time. A man of integrity. When he first got sick, the question was why or how? He was in such good shape. With Dee's help, he proved he was a survivor. George will be missed.
My thoughts and prayers for Dee and the family.
