Harry was such a kind man. A true gentleman, a caring man and a gentle giant. He carried me through an unpleasant divorce as my attorney. That was in the 70's and I will never forget his kindness.

My sincere condolences to the Cavanagh family. My years at OCC were made very special because of HJC. He personally helped me through a troubling time I was having many, many years ago with my youngest son when I was working with Mayor Shanken. I will never forget him or his kindness. He truly made OCC a great place to work. God bless him and his family.

Know that Harry is not dead...he merely sleeps, and peacefully awaits eternal life with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, where he will prepare a place for those that follow.

Harry was a class act - a true gentleman and a wonderful man to work with and for. While Harry accomplished many things in his life, I always loved him for his huge heart, his kindness, his thoughtfulness, his manners, his wisdom, his grateful spirit, his encouragement and his love of life. Harry always helped others out. May he rest in peace, his legacy live on and his family and friends cherish the memories.

Harry was one of the most special people i can recall meeting during my legal career. The manner in which he treated his clients, the people in the firm and how he conducted himself professionally is an example for all of us. He always displayed that extra bit of wisdom, courage, judgment and faith that separated him for the herd of other attorneys!

Harry's support of young lawyers was always so special and for me, in particular, it was what spurred me to try to be the best -- ethically, professionally, and with concern for all involved. The lessons I learned from him ring in my head virtually every day of my life and it is my sincere hope that I will be able to pass them onto many other persons in Harry's style. He was a tue hero in every sense of the word and a treasured friend and mentor.
