I had the opportunity to start Flip Chip Technologies (FCT) with Harry in 1996. He was past the "Hollering Harry" stage by that time but we all heard stories from friends in Intel. He successfully made the transition from large company to startup and was key to the initial success of FCT. I recently had the opportunity to use one of his favorite sayings/principals, "No Change is Innocuous.”

As a young man, my first job was at Intel. Harry was my boss’s boss, and I was within earshot of Harry everyday for the four years I worked in Chandler. He once said “show me a good loser and I will show you a loser”. No truer words were spoken and I have lived by them and many other truisms I learned from Harry.

A good man. I respected Harry more then any other manager at intel. You always knew where you stood with him. He was genuine. He had a big heart and always went above and beyond. God bless his family and may he RIP.

Harry was one of a kind. In '82 I moved from Intel Oregon to Arizona. We met ... I was a nobody ... from that moment forward, whenever we saw one another he said "Hi Steve, how are you doing" ... point is he knew a thousand people by first name and was always ready to take ~10 minutes to talk. SO personable. Oh yeah, if you were across the room, "Hollering Harry" would still say hello :) Truly a man who believed in each employee, and yelled at us all the same. Respects to Harry and his family!
