My family has so many wonderful memories of Aunt Helen. As a child, I remember how fun it was to go to Phoenix to visit and stay in her cute little house. Then when I grew up and had children, she enjoyed it so much when I would bring my sons Jimmy and Patrick down to see her. She helped me when my Mom, her sister, Jo See was sick and dying. She would spend as much time with her as she could and let me have some time off. I appreciated that more than anyone could ever know. She loved her sister so much, and when my Mom died Helen would call me every day to tell me how much she missed her sister. They always had such good times together, especially shopping at the thrift stores! I will never forget all the great times together, especially when we went to New York in May 2001. We had a blast. And of course, the reason that I am able to use the English language quite well is because I had Helen Dover as my aunt and she was very good at correcting the wrong usage. She made it fun! We will miss her, but we will always have great memories and laughs over all the fun times with her.

Love, Cindy Lawler and family

My deepest condolences to Ms. Dover's family. She will truly be missed. She loved her Fred and her grandkids very much. She was so proud to become a great-grandma. We always thought it was neat that I also have a son named Fred and I became a grandma around the time she became a great-grandma. I truly miss our talks. The Dover family is in our thoughts and prayers. - The Kenyon Family

Ms. Dover was a very SPECIAL lady. She was my Freshman typing teacher in 1976 at Camelback. In 1986 I moved into my home and to my delight - Ms. Dover was my neighbor - we talked of school times and I was amazed that she still had my grades from 10 years earlier. She told me that I was an excellent student and was very proud of the fact that I work for a Judge - she said - "see that typing that I taught you brought you a long way." I was very sad when Ms. Dover had to move to California. I checked on her a few times and then lost touch with her family. It is a very sad day for me - I lost a teacher, mentor and friend. Rest in Peace Ms. Dover - I love you.

Helen was my favorite Aunt. She was always wonderful fun and I have many fond memories of her. We lived near her little house in Phoenix and visited her and Fred often. Who can forget her dog, Girlena (is that Italian for girl?) or her lifelong study of the Italian language and folk dancing. She lead all of us dancing at my wedding in Santa Fe, NM in 1985 when I married a Greek man - she knew all the Greek dances! So sad to see the last of the Becchetti's go - they are all missed, but especially our beautiful aunt Helen!
