Henry Valdez Obituary
54, born May 28, 1958, in Phoenix, Arizona, passed away on Friday, August 17, 2012. Henry is survived by his mother Juana, wife Mary, son Bobby (Natalie), daughter Angela (Leo), grandson Andre, along with many nieces and nephews. He graduated from East High School in 1976. Worked for the U.S. Postal Service for 35 years. Visitation was held Tuesday, August 21, 2012 from 5:00-8:00 P.M. with a Scripture Service at 7:00 P.M. at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Rd., Phoenix. Funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, August
22, 2012, 10:30 A.M. at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 2312 E. Campbell Ave., Phoenix, AZ. The family requests in lieu of flowers donation be made to the University of Arizona Cancer Center.

Enrique~ Although your gone and out of sight your definitely not out of mind. You've flown away and not through your choice, you left us all behind. I hope you know I still think of you and how much you meant to us all. It's been a year and it's safe to say, I still think of you every day. Uncle Henry,
It's been a year but it seems like yesterday that we lost you. Everyday we think of you and your awesome smile. I miss talking to you about life and family. Miss the great vacations that you shared with us, but don't worry I am traveling in style with Aunt Mary. We still go to Nana's to visit with her and have some of her "great green chili" which by the way she still thinks of you often. I will never forget you and you will always be in my heart.

I enjoyed Henry's personality and sense of humor for the many years I knew him. He had the talent to keep a potentially tense conversation light and never seemed to take the small things serious. Angela, Bobby and Families I am so very sorry for your loss. Whenever your Dad and I would sit and talk about our children there was always one thing that was very clear to me, he was so proud of his children. Whenever he talked about either one of you his face would light up. He was a wonderful, kind, caring and generous man. He had a huge heart. He loved and cared deeply.
