It was my pleasure to meet Hy and Connie and see the love they shared. Connie, may you and the children find comfort in all the fine memories. Although brief, I was glad to be there for you.

I remember him as being such a warm person to be around. And even though I didn't know him as well as close family did; I still feel somehow "connected" and I can't begin to imagine how Connie must feel not having him around anymore.

May 22, 2013

My wife, Lynn, and I, only met Hy on a few occasions, each time at a dinner with Connie and her children, Dave and Daphne Weiss, at their home. Hy was a pleasure to be around, a real mensch, who was wonderful to talk with. Please extend our sympathies to Dave, Daphne and the entire family.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss. My Mom, Joanne Berger, was very fond of Herman "Hy" and the family. She always talks about how he used to tease her for being his older friend although she was only a few months older. I think they knew each other since they were 14. There are so many wonderful stories about their travels and friendship. Please extend our sympathies to the whole family.
