Hilda Rodriguez Obituary
88, of Phoenix, AZ, went home to be with the Lord on March 28th, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank; her daughter, Alice Rodriguez; and her grandson, Art "Bunky" Roman. Hilda's passion for her family was evident and she will always be remembered as a caring and loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She is survived by her children, Frank Rodriguez, Jr, Thomas Soza (Dolores) Rodriguez, Angelina (Jessie) Lopez, Patricia "Pat" (Frank) Cervantes and Raynaldo Rodriguez; 14 grandchildren; 24 & 1/2 great grandchildren; and 4 great great grandchildren. The Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 PM, with a 7:00 PM Rosary, Tuesday, April 3rd, 2012, at Lowmans Arizona Funeral Home, 717 West Dobbins Road, Phoenix, AZ. The Funeral Mass will begin at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, April 4th, 2012, at Holy Family Catholic Church, 6802 South 24th Street, Phoenix, AZ. There wil be a procession to St. Francis Catholic Cemetery, 2033 North 48th Street, Phoenix, AZ, following the Funeral Mass. In lieu of flowers, contributions suggested to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower St, Phoenix, AZ, 85014. Arrangements entrusted to Lowmans Arizona Funeral Home, Inc.

I have a lot of great memories of my Tia Wera. I could go to her with a problem and ask her not to say anything and she would keep my secrets. I remeber her salads of "pepinos" tomatoes, her salsa, rice and beans. Her tostadas. She always had food ready for anyone who showed up. The best memories I have of my Tia is her and my mother making tortillas either at her house or our house. They would walk down the street carrying their ingridients laughing and talking. Those were fun memories and many more I remember.
Tia I know you were met by all your family that have gone home to the Lord. Love you and will miss you. Terry Soza Withers

I have a lot of good memories of my Tia Weta. I remember her coming over to visit my Nana Lucy and they would be talking and laughing in the kitchen. I also remember going to visit her on the weekends with my family and eating her fresh made tostadas. I know all the sisters are welcoming her right now and I'm sure they have a lot to talk about! You will be missed Tia Weta! Love you!
