Donnell family grandchildren were treated to rides in a sporty car along a country road in Mattoon Township, IL upon our first meeting Aunt Rena's fiance, Hilton Roberts. Some of us may also have ridden with him on his motorcycle.
Uncle Hilton enjoyed photography, capturing casual poses of family members at our summer gatherings. He also appreciated great music, whether on classical guitar, piano, or organ. He complimented a teenage niece and budding organist by saying, "I could listen to you play all day long."
Now, Uncle Hilton can play his classical guitar and enjoy celestial music 'all day long.' Who knows, perhaps he's located a sporty car and is cruising a lovely country lane, or enjoying wind blowing through his hair while riding his motorcycle?
Rest in peace, Uncle Hilton.

Hilton was a fine man. We live just down the street from him and his lovely wife for 17 years. Hilton is the reason we started going to La Ristra which is now our favorite Mexican restaurant. We will miss him but every time we go to La Ristra we know he will be looking down and whispering in our ears what to try on that visit. R.I.P.
