Imogene Fitzpatrick Obituary

Imogene F. Fitzpatrick, my sweet 84-year-old mother, died on 12 March 2006 after languishing for 2.5 years in bed after a stroke on 16 December 2003. She previously resided in Whispering Palms Park, 19225 N. Cave Creek Rd, #61 for 25 years where her community eagerly awaited her huorous weekly "coffee" repartee. She was born in Billings, Montana, and raised her three children in Arizona. She leaves behind her adoring husband of 35 years, Charles Evens Fitzpatrick; her married daughter, Priscilla Imogene Payne of Walla Walla, Washington; and single son, William Lloyd Fuchs Ware of Phoenix. She was a great great grandmother. She was preceded in death by her youngest son, Daniel Lawrence Ware in 1979, and her children's father, Lloyd Peyton Ware, a well-known Architect in 1984. Visitation will be held on Friday 17th of March 2006 beginning at 10:00 AM with service beginning at 11:00 AM at Shadow Mountain Mortuary, 2350 E Greenway Rd, Phoenix.

We met Imo years ago through my parents Gil and Opal Beorn. We loved her the minute we met her. She always made us smile or just feel good to be with her.

She was a dear, sweet lady and we will all miss her. Our love and prayers are with Fitz, and her children.

I am Opal and Gil Beorn's daughter. I loved Imo with all my heart and will miss her terribly. I always made sure I saw Imo and Fitz whenever I was visiting my folks. While she was in the nursing facility she'd always know if I was on my way to Phoenix and start asking my Mom if I was there yet because she enjoyed seeing me. I also kept in touch with her by sending her cards which I know she enjoyed. She was a dear, dear, beautiful, classy lady. And a wonderful friend to my Mother and also to me.
