Although we never met Mr. Tang, we were frequent diners at Dick & Shirley's restaurant, Nacho's, and are sorry, Dick, to hear of the passing of your brother. Please accept our greetings and condolences from the family of Tony & Mary Martin.

I met Jack when I started working in the engineering dept of the City of Phx. He was well liked and respected within the dept and the engineering consultants who knew him. Also frequented his Tang's Restaurant because his food was good. Jack was a quality guy.

I was saddened this morning to read that Jack had passed away. It's been a long time since I've seen or talked with him but the good memories remain. The last time I saw him was at an Az. Cardinals football game in Tempe. I could see then that Jack had some ailments, but his manner and friendliness remained.
We go back a lot further than the football game. Jack and I worked together in the engineering department of the City of Phoenix for a number of years. We were always so glad to have Jack on staff. he had good highway design skills that were certainly in demand in the City at that time.
He brought a lot to the job; including postitive attitude, team-building, experience, and a scheduling meeting ability. Coworkers all liked and respected Jack.
We go back so many years that I still remember a little investment club that Jack participated in...Little Brothers of the Poor. But that's another.
My condolences to the Tang family.
