James Marxen Obituary
Jim was born February 24, 1932 in Kent, Ohio to Glen and Dorothy Marxen. He was a Korean War Veteran where he served in the USMC, attaining the rank of Sergeant. In 1953 he married the love of his life, Doreen Walter with whom he shared a wonderful 63 year marriage. Mr. Marxen was a business executive in various capacities with a number of large corporations in Ohio, Indiana and Wisconsin. Jim and Doreen retired to Gilbert, Arizona in the summer of '98 where they enjoyed a pleasant retirement. Jim left us in the presence of his loving family, wife Doreen, daughters, son in laws and grandchildren.Services will be held Friday, September 1, 2017 at 10am at Mariposa Gardens with Interment at the national memorial Cemetery of Arizona at 2pm on September 1, 2017.
